CM Punk Could Be Fighting At The UFC 225 PPV Event In Chicago, And His Opponent May Have Been Revealed
There's a lot of "maybes" here, but it looks like former WWE champion & current UFC welterweight fighter CM Punk could be competing at an upcoming show in Chicago, against a man who also lost to Mickey Gall...
Dana White recently confirmed that he was going to give CM Punk "another shot" in the octagon after his humiliating loss to Mickey Gall, and we might just know when that's going to happen and who the one-time "Straight-Edge Superstar" will be facing.
According to a report from MMA Fighting, The UFC is currently discussing booking CM Punk vs. Mike Jackson for the UFC 225 card on June 9 in Chicago. Though there's nothing official just yet, "multiple sources" have allegedly confirmed that early talks are indeed underway.
Jackson, who was beaten by Gall for the right to face Punk in the first place, has been taunting the former WWE star on Twitter for a while now in the hopes of getting the opportunity to throw hands with him, and it looks like he may get this chance this June.
