CM Punk didn't have a whole lot of luck in UFC and was soundly defeated both times he stepped inside the Octagon. Since then, UFC President Dana White has made it clear that he won't fight for his company again and while there are other avenues for him to explore in the world of MMA, common sense says he should now return to the world of pro wrestling and hit the independent scene.

During a recent interview, Punk confirmed that he's still training but the fact he's working on a "Soska Sisters remake of the legendary Cronenberg film, Rabid" has put that career on hold for now.

As a result, talk turned to the possibility of him fighting again and Punk was understandably vague with his response. "I don’t know. I’m focused on this movie right now. You’ll have to ask me when we wrap, which is in a couple weeks." While he may have lost his love for pro wrestling, that is where the money is so he would be wise to team with the likes of Cody Rhodes and Kenny Omega!
