CM Punk Was Involved In An Altercation With A Fan At An MMA Event Over The Weekend

While doing commentary for the Cage Fury Fighting Championships 77 event at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada this weekend, CM Punk ended up getting into an altercation with a fan. The show aired on UFC's streaming service, UFC Fight Pass, and marks a charge in direction for Punk's career.

While the video has been removed from YouTube, the former WWE Superstar had to deal with a fan who got too close to him and decided to voice his opinion loud enough so that you could actually hear what they were saying through his headset.

After Punk removed that, his commentary partner noted that there was a minor situation (it didn't appear to get physical as the Best in the World was restrained by a colleague) and the fan was then removed from the building. Punk has made light of the situation on social media but it remains to be seen what impact, if any, this will have on him doing commentary moving forward.

Did you guys catch this confrontation over the weekend?
