Ever since his win over Ilir Latifi back in December, Corey Anderson has been calling for a light heavyweight championship bout against Jon Jones for some time now.

The problem is, despite the fact that Anderson is currently on a three-fight winning streak, the light heavyweight is currently ranked at #8, with Daniel Cormier, Thiago Santos, and Anthony Smith occupying the first three rankings. However, that hasn’t stopped Anderson from trying to get a shot at the championship, as the Illinois native decided to stop by and confront Jon Jones during an autograph signing in New Jersey.

The fighters never get to the level of throwing fists, as Anderson claims that he simply came to say “Hi”, though the light heavyweight champ wasn’t buying it. Jones stated that he had no problem talking to Anderson, but if he said the wrong thing then a fight would surely happen:

Jones has spoken about a potential fight against Anderson and didn’t feel that he was ready to get inside the octagon with him. Of course, Anderson disagreed and says he wants “All The Smoke” when it comes to the champ; however, the decision ultimately comes down to Dana White, who doesn’t appear interested in the match-up at all:
