Corey Anderson finally has a fight; however, it’s not against Jon Jones. Dana White has made it clear that the #8 ranked fighter won’t be getting a shot at the light heavyweight championship, thus Anderson looks to get one step closer to his title match by pulling out a victory over Johnny Walker.

Anderson is currently on a three-fight winning streak, with one of those victories coming at the expense of Glover Teixeira. Anderson’s professional mixed martial arts record currently stands at 12 wins and 4 losses.

Johnny Walker is no easy task for Anderson, as the light heavyweight is currently undefeated in the promotion. Coming into the UFC back in 2018, the Brazil native has gotten knockout wins over Khalil Rountree, Justin Ledet and Misha Cirkunov.  The 27-year-old’s professional mma record is 17 wins and 3 losses.

The bout is scheduled to take place at UFC 244 on Saturday, November 2 from Madison Square Garden in New York, New York.
