A new women’s flyweight match-up is set for UFC 254 as Cynthia Calvillo will take on Lauren Murphy at the pay-per-view.

Calvillo is coming off a unanimous decision win over Jessica Eye and is currently in the midst of a three-fight winning streak; Calvillo has also beaten Poliana Botelho (via submission at UFC Fight Night 140) and Cortney Casey (via unanimous decision at UFC on ESPN 1). The 32-year-old has lost only one match inside of the octagon, which was against Carla Esparza at UFC 219. Calvillo’s professional record currently stands at 9 wins, 1 loss, and 1 no contest.

Murphy is coming in with momentum as well as the featherweight is also on a three-fight winning streak, beating Roxanne Modafferi (via unanimous decision at UFC on ESPN 11), Mara Romero Borella (via TKO at UFC on ESPN 5), and Andrea Lee (via split decision at UFC 247). Murphy’s current record stands at 13 wins and 4 losses.

UFC 254 takes place on Saturday, October 24 with Khabib Nurmagomedov vs. Justin Gaethje for the UFC Lightweight title headlining the pay-per-view. The placement of the women’s flyweight bout is currently unknown.
