The UFC is really going all in on this Baddest Motherf***er fight between fan-favorites Nate Diaz and Jorge Masvidal.
On November 2, two of the UFC's most explosive fighters will meet in the Octagon at UFC 244 in Madison Square Garden and fight to become the official "Baddest Motherf***er" in the UFC, a made-up championship title that is now going to have an official belt. And now it has been confirmed that former WWE superstar-turned-Hollywood actor Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson will be the one to present the belt to the winner.
Speaking to TMZ Sports, UFC president Dana White confirmed that The Rock will be the one to present the BMF Belt at UFC 244.
“He’s gonna,” White said when asked.
“He’s taking my job. Listen, if The Rock wants to do it, The Rock gets what The Rock wants.”
Jorge Masvidal
was actually the one to initially reach out to The Rock, a major figure in Miami, to put the belt around his waist should he defeat Diaz. The Rock responded, saying he would do all he can to be there, and it seems all has been worked out.
White also revealed that the BMF belt cost around $50,000 to create.
Despite Diaz and Masvidal having a combined loss total greater than 20, both are considered among the top fighters in the welterweight division and the most electrifying in the UFC.
UFC 244 takes place on Saturday, November 2. It's shaping up to be quite the event.
