UFC 225 has come and gone, and the former straight edge superstar (0-2) lost his second UFC fight this past Saturday night via a three round unanimous decision to Mike Jackson.

During the night’s post-fight press conference, UFC President Dana White spoke with members of the press answering numerous questions about Punk’s loss in his hometown of Chicago. White praised Punk for showing a ton of heart during the bout, getting back up over and over again despite taking a hellacious beating, but then insisted that the former WWE Champion’s time in the UFC has come to an end.

“That should be a wrap,” White said. “The guy is 39-years-old. I love the guy – he’s the nicest guy in the world. We gave him two shots and he had a lot of heart tonight in this fight, and I think he should call it a wrap.”

One person that Dana was NOT too thrilled with in terms of performance was Punk’s opponent Mike Jackson (1-1). White called the Houston native “a complete f—ing moron”, complaining that he never seemed to take the fight seriously, and spent his time toying with Punk and “acting like a goofball” instead of trying to finish his opponent.

“You get this opportunity to come in and fight CM Punk, and you’re doing bolo punches to the body? It never looked like he was trying to finish the fight, ever. Never tried. I don’t know what that guy did for a living before we gave him a shot, but whatever it was he needs to go back and do that again. He’s 0-2 as far as I’m concerned. That’s it for his UFC career. I wouldn’t put that kid in the Contender’s Series.”
