Danny Roberts and Shavkat Rakhmonov are both off UFC Fight Night: Till vs. Whittaker.

MMA Junkie first reported the news that the welterweights will no longer compete on the “Fight Island” show in Abu Dhabi. Roberts was originally scheduled to take on Nicolas Dalby and Rakhmonov was set to face Ramazan Emeev.

Rakhmonov and Roberts' withdrawal is due to injury. Roberts confirmed the news on Instagram. There’s no word on whether Dalby and Emeev will stay on the card as Dana White has stated in the past that it would be harder to bring in fighters on short-notice as the event is taking place on Yas Island and COVID-19 testing will be observed.

Roberts was making his return following his knockout win against Zelim Imadaev at UFC Fight Night 163 in November. Rakhhmonov was set to make his UFC debut on July 25, with the former M-1 Global fighter entering the contest on a 12-fight winning streak. We’ll keep you updated should Dalby and Emeev receive new opponents for UFC Fight Night: Till vs. Whittaker.
