A new middleweight bout has been set for UFC Fight Night: Woodley vs. Covington as Kevin Holland will face Darren Stewart at the fight night event.
Holland extended his winning streak thanks to his win over Joaquin Buckley at UFC Fight Night 174. In total, the middleweight has won four out of his last five fights, also dropping Anthony Hernandez (via TKO at UFC on ESPN 8), Gerald Meerschaert (via split decision at UFC on ESPN 2), and Alessio Di Chirico (via unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night 154). Holland’s professional record stands at 18 wins and 5 losses.
Stewart bounced back with a submission victory over Maki Pitolo at UFC Fight Night 174. Since his three fight losing streak back in 2017, the middleweight has managed to work his way back up the division rankings thanks to his wins over Charles Byrd (via TKO at UFC 228), Bevon Lewis (via unanimous decision at UFC 238), and Deron Winn (via UFC on ESPN 6). Stewart’s record in his last five fights is a mixed bag with the 29-year-old winning only three of his bouts. Overall, Stewart’s professional record stands at 12 wins and 5 losses.
