However, Poirier has evolved since his last win over Holloway as he’s beaten Conor McGregor (twice), Michael Chandler, and Dan Hooker. Though Poirier comes in from a loss, the lightweight has won three out of his last six fights. Poirier’s record currently stands at 30 wins and 9 losses.

Still, Holloway’s track record in his past six fights is pretty good as he’s beaten Justin Gatheje, Jung Chan-sung, Arnold Allen, and Arnold Allen. Holloway’s professional record stands at 26 wins and 8 losses.

The UFC Middleweight title contender is in the midst of a two-fight skid as he’s lost to Robert Whittaker and Sean Strickland. In total, Costa has only won two fights in his last six.
