Ed Herman will make his return to the octagon this Saturday as the light heavyweight is set to take on Mike Rodriguez.
Herman will make his first appearance inside the octagon this year with the fighter entering on a two-fight winning streak thanks to victories over Patrick Cummins (via TKO at UFC Fight Night 152) and Khadis Ibragimov (via unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night 163). Overall, Herman has won three out of his last six fights, also beating Tim Boetsch at UFC Fight Night 81. Herman’s professional record currently stands at 24 wins, 14 losses, and 1 no contest.
Since making his UFC debut in 2018, Rodriguez has only garnered two wins in the promotion thus far. A Dana White’s Contender Series alumni, Rodriguez impressed with his TKO win over Adam Milstead; however, his losses to Devin Clark (via unanimous decision at UFC 223) and Da Un Jung (via KO at UFC Fight Night 165) put him back in rankings. However, the light heavyweight bounced back with a recent win over Marcin Prachnio at UFC on ESPN 15. Rodriguez has a solid professional record of 11 wins and 4 losses.
