Elizeu Zaleski Dos Santos vs. Shavkat Rakhmonov will no longer take place at UFC 254.

The welterweight bout was originally confirmed for the upcoming pay-per-view; however, Dos Santos suffered an undisclosed injury that’s forced him to pull out of the fight. Thus far, the severity of the injury is unknown. The news was first reported by AG Fight.

In terms of Rakhmonov, the welterweight is expected to remain on the card, though there’s no word on who officials are seeking as a replacement. Rakhmonov will be making his UFC debut here and the welterweight is coming in on the strength of a strong 12-fight winning streak.
