Last week, it was reported that Jeremy Stephens vs. Calvin Kattar was off the UFC 248 fight card, though the bout would be rescheduled. Now, it’s been confirmed that the featherweight match-up will be moved to UFC 249.

At the moment, both men are looking to get some momentum going as Stephens and Kattar are coming off big losses. The featherweight bout will join an already stacked card in March, as Khabib Numagomedov will finally face Tony Ferguson for the Lightweight Championship in the main event.

In a women’s strawweight bout, former UFC Strawweight Champion Rose Namajunas will return following her shocking loss to Jéssica Andrade back in May 2019, as ‘Thug Rose’ will fight the same woman who took away the prestigious belt.

UFC 249 will take place on Saturday, April 18 from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. Thus far, four fights have been confirmed for the main card, with the UFC Lightweight title headlining the pay-per-view event.
