A new featherweight bout has been set for UFC 248, as Jeremy Stephens will make his return to the octagon to fight Calvin Kattar.

Stephens enters the fight in need of a win, as the featherweight is currently in the midst of a three-fight losing streak. The Iowa native has lost his last three bouts against Jose Aldo, Yair Rodriguez, and Zabit Magomedsharipov. Stephens professional record currently stands at 28 wins, 17 losses, and 1 no contest.

Kattar is looking to regain some momentum as well, as the featherweight was on a two-fight winning streak until he lost a unanimous decision bout to Zabit Magomedsharipov at UFC Moscow. Despite the recent setback, Kattar has won four out of his six fights since his UFC debut in 2017. Kattar’s professional record stands at 20 wins and 4 losses.

UFC 248 takes place on Saturday, March 8 from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada with no main event announced at this time.
