Featherweight Bout Featuring Ricardo Lamas Is Confirmed For UFC ARGENTINA

Featherweight fighters Ricardo Lamas and Darren Elkins will be given an opportunity to shine in the co-main event of UFC Argentina on Nov. 17 at the Mary Teran de Weiss Stadium in Buenos Aires.

Lamas is in need of a victory as he lost his last two fights, Mirsad Bektic in June at UFC 225 and Josh Emmett last December at UFC on FOX 26. Elkins is coming off a unanimous decision loss to Alexander Volkanovski this past July; The featherweight was on a hot streak in the 145 pound division with six consecutive victories before the loss.

UFC Fight Night 140 will be headlined by a welterweight bout between Argentina’s own Santiago Ponzinibbio and Neil Magny. See the updated card below:
