Ladies and gentleman, UFC 249 is finally here!
The first pay-per-view since March will feature a stacked card that has two big championship bouts and a former UFC Lightweight Champion making his return.
In the main event, Tony Ferguson will defend the UFC Interim Lightweight Title against Justin Gaethje, with the winner going on to fight Khabib Nurmagomedov. Many have pegged Gaethje as the man who will finally give Nurmagomedov his first loss; however, Ferguson is not a fighter to sleep on as the 36-year-old hasn’t lost a bout since 2013 and nine of his wins were by submission or TKO. Will Justin Gaethje become number 13 on Ferguson's list of victories?
In the co-main event, Dominick Cruz will make his long-awaited return to reclaim what he lost at UFC 207. Cruz’s loss to Cody Garbrandt remains his only defeat within the UFC; however, will Henry Cejudo hand the California native his second UFC loss on May 9th?
In a rematch seven years in the making, Anthony “Showtime” Pettis will take on Donald Cerrone. Both fighters are in the midst of a terrible losing streak; Who will break their recent string of losses with a victory at the big pay-per-view?
