Originally set for UFC Fight Night San Diego, the women’s flyweight bout between Ariane Lipski and Luana Carolina will now take place on June 13.

Lipski is coming off a victory over Isabela de Pádua at UFC Fight Night São Paulo. The flyweight is hoping to continue building off that win as Lipski suffered two consecutive losses prior towards Molly McCann (via unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night 154) and Joanne Calderwood (via unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night 143) that resulted in her having a 1-3 record within the promotion thus far. Lipski made her name outside of the promotion and is a former KSW Flyweight Champion. Her professional record is 12 wins and 5 losses.

Carolina enters the contest on a strong six-fight winning streak, with her latest win coming over Priscila Cachoeira at UFC 237. Like Lipski, the flyweight made her name outside of the company and competed in Thunder Fight, Batalha MMA Championship, and Casa Branca Fight. Carolina’s professional record currently stands at 6 wins and 1 loss.

The unnamed UFC Fight Night event will take place on Saturday, June 13 with a location and main event soon to be announced.
