Former Lightweight Champion Anthony Pettis is set to make his return at UFC 246, as he’ll face Diego Ferreira.

Pettis is coming off a decisive loss to Nate Diaz at UFC 241 in August. The Wisconsin native will make his return to the lightweight division, where he dominated in 2013 to 2015. During that time, Pettis defeated veterans such as Benson Henderson, Donald Cerrone, Joe Lauzon, and Jeremy Stephens. Pettis’ current record stands at 22 wins and 9 losses.

Ferreira is currently in the midst of a five-fight winning streak, as the lightweight has gotten impressive victories over Olivier Aubin-Mercier, Jared Gordon, Kyle Nelson, Rustam Khabilov and Mairbek Taisumov. The Brazil native hasn’t lost a bout since 2015, which was against Dustin Poirier. Ferreira’s current record stands at 16 wins and 2 losses.

UFC 246 takes place on Saturday, January 18 from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada with no main event announced at this time.
