A big heavyweight match-up has been added to UFC 250 as Alexey Oleynik will face Fabricio Werdum.

Oleynik is looking to continue building up momentum following his submission win over Maurice Greene at UFC 246, as the heavyweight fighter hopes to further establish his strong skills inside the octagon after suffering losses to Walt Harris and Alistair Overeem. Oleynik’s professional record currently stands at 58 wins, 13 losses, and 1 no contest.

Werdum will be making his return to the octagon after a two-year suspension from USADA back in 2018. The former UFC Heavyweight Champion lost his last fight against Alexander Volkov back in March 2018. The MMA veteran still has a solid professional record of 23 wins, 8 losses, and 1 no contest.

UFC 250 takes place on Saturday, May 9 from the Ibirapueroa Gymnasium in Sao Paulo, Brazil with Henry Cejudo and Jose Aldo headlining.
