Could we see Robert Whittaker vs. Darren Till at UFC London?

The former UFC Middleweight Champion first issued the challenge on The Daily Telegraph, “That’s the fight I’m currently interested in (against Till),” Whittaker stated. “Plus I’ve never been to Europe before, so what better reason to go?”

It didn’t take long for Till - who’s coming off his huge win over Kelvin Gastelum at UFC 244 – to respond to the former champion’s challenge:

Whittaker responded accordingly, stating that he’ll see Till in London:

At the moment, the fight between the two middleweights has yet to be confirmed, nor is there a set date for UFC’s return to London. The promotion tends to go there around March, but as previously stated, nothing has been confirmed.

Should this fight happen, this is no doubt a big opportunity for both men, as Whittaker is looking to bounce back from his loss to Israel Adesanya at UFC 243. Till beating the former UFC Middleweight champion – who was on a nine-fight winning streak before his loss – will surely help him climb the rankings of the division.
