Former UFC strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk was selected to carry the Olympic torch for a segment of the torch’s journey to Pyeongchang County, South Korea, for the 2018 Winter Games, which begins on Feb. 9.

The 14-1 former champ, successfully defended her title five times, defeating Valerie Letourneau,  Claudia Gadelha, Karolina Kowalkiewicz, Jessica Penne, and Jessica Andrade  before losing to Rose Namajunas via TKO at UFC 217. She carried the torch over the weekend.
