Longtime UFC veteran Chris Leben is set to fight Phil Baroni, another MMA veteran, on Oct. 20 in a bare-knuckle boxing match with the World Bare Knuckle Fighting Federation in Casper, Wyoming. Both fighters confirmed the bout to MMA Fighting following an announcement by the promotion.

Leben retired back in December 2013 following an eight-year run with the UFC. He attempted an MMA comeback with Bellator in 2016 but was unable to do so due to the discovery of a heart condition.

Earlier this year, Baroni won a bout against Matt Lagler via knockout at a King of the Cage event.

Baroni has competed in nearly every major promotion — the UFC, Pride FC, Elite XC, Strikeforce, DREAM, Bellator, ONE Championship — and has battled the likes of Frank Shamrock, Karo Parisyan, Brad Tavares, Kazuo Misaki, Dave Menne, among many others.
