Jake Hager’s momentum inside the octagon continues as the former WWE superstar advanced to 2-0 at Bellator 221.

Hager made short work against his opponent, TJ Jones; A quick takedown was followed by top wristlock and double wristlock attempts, before Hager applied an arm triangle to gain the win. Hager held on to the hold for longer than he should and was booed by the crowd during his post-match interview. Hager stated that he wanted to be sure the tap actually happened as he believed that Jones may have been fighting back still.

Hager won his first fight over J.W. Kiser back in January via submission. Speaking to fightful.com, the former WWE superstar talked about wanting to fight three to four times in 2019 and with the impressive wins Hager is dishing out, don’t be surprised to see him booked for another bout in a couple of months.
