Hager essentially dominated the bout from the beginning, showcasing some solid wrestling and striking before ending the fight via submission thanks to a head-and-arm choke at 2:09.
“It was a matter of keeping my posture and then it was just a matter of time before I put it on him,’ Hager stated during his post-match interview after his victory. The former WWE superstar is now 1-0 in his professional mixed martial arts career.
