A new heavyweight bout has been confirmed for the upcoming fight night event on Dec. 5 as Gian Villante and Jake Collier will collide at the UFC show.

Villante is looking to get back into the win column after the heavyweight suffered back-to-back losses to Maurice Greene (via submission at UFC Fight Night: Poirier vs. Hooker) and Michał Oleksiejczuk (via TKO at UFC Fight Night 145). Villante hasn't had the best luck in his last five fights with his only victories being against Francimar Barroso (via split decision at UFC 220) and Ed Herman (via split decision at UFC Fight Night 138). His professional record currently stands at 17 wins and 12 losses.

Collier is also coming off a devastating loss that saw the heavyweight dropped by Tom Aspinall in a first-round TKO. Collier has seen some success in his last five fights as the 31-year-old has beaten Alberto Uda (via TKO at UFC Fight Night 88) and Marcel Fortuna (via unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night 120). Collier’s professional record currently stands at 11 wins and 5 losses.

Check out the updated line-up for the fight night show on Dec. 5:

Jack Hermansson vs. Darren Till

Bethe Correia vs. Yanan Wu

Jake Collier vs. Gian Villante
