Julia Avila will now fight Gina Mazany after Karol Rosa was forced to pull out of the bantamweight bout for disclosed reasons.

Avila is currently white hot at the moment as the bantamweight is on a three-fight winning streak beating Ashley Deen (via KO at HD MMA 13), Alexa Conners (via TKO at Invicta FC 32), and Pannie Kianzad (via unanimous decision at UFC 239). Prior to her debut at UFC 239, the California native competed in HD MMA and Invicta Fighting Championships. Avila’s professional record currently stands at 7 wins and 1 loss.

Mazany is making her return to the promotion after leaving the company in January. During that time, the bantamweight managed to get a win over Valerie Barney at King of the Cage. Mazany left the company on a back-to-back losing streak and has only won two bouts in her last five fights, also beating Yanan Wu at UFC Fight Night 122. Her professional record currently stands at 6 wins and 3 losses.

UFC Fight Night: Eye vs. Calvillo takes place on Saturday, June 13 from a location set to be announced soon and the two flyweights headlining.
