The bad luck continues for Thiago Santos and Glover Teixeira.

Last week, their big light heavyweight bout was bumped from UFC Vegas 10 due to Teixeira testing positive for COVID-19 and now, Santos has tested positive for the coronavirus, thus the match has been cancelled for the Oct. 3 show.

There’s no word on whether Teixeira will fight a replacement opponent for next month’s fight night event. Teixeira is coming off a strong and dominant win over Anthony Smith back in May. Santos recently lost a split decision contest to Jon Jones for the UFC Light Heavyweight belt; however, that was an extremely close fight that many feel Santos won.

Reportedly, this bout was set to determine the next challenger for the 205-pound belt. Dominick Reyes and Jan Blachowicz will fight for the vacant title at UFC 253. The October 3 show will be headlined with a bantamweight bout between Irene Aldana and Holly Holm. The co-main event will be announced very shortly. Below is the updated line-up:

Irene Aldana vs. Holly Holm

Germaine de Randamie vs. Julianna Pena

Andrei Arlovski vs. Tanner Boser

Beneil Dariush vs. Charles Oliveira

Carlos Condit vs. Court McGee

Loma Lookboonmee vs. Jinh Yu Frey

Yorgan De Castro vs. Carlos Felipe

Heili Alateng vs. Casey Kenney

Tom Breese vs. Roman Kopylov

Josh Culibao vs. Charles Jourdain
