Glover Teixeira vs. Thiago Santos is off next week’s card.

The main event featuring the two light heavyweights has been pulled due to Teixeira testing positive for the coronavirus. The bout will be rescheduled for Oct 3., which was confirmed by both Combate and MMA Junkie.

There’s no word on what will end up headlining next week’s show. Santos will not fight a replacement opponent as the time period between now and Oct. 3 would be a very short turn around for the former light heavyweight title contender.

Teixeira is coming off a strong and dominant win over Anthony Smith back in May. Santos recently lost a split decision contest to Jon Jones for the UFC Light Heavyweight belt; however, that was an extremely close fight that many feel Santos won. Reportedly, this bout was set to determine the next challenger for the 205-pound belt. Dominick Reyes and Jan Blachowicz will fight for the vacant title at UFC 253.

Below is the updated line-up for the UFC Fight Night show on Oct. 3:

Irene Aldana vs. Holly Holm

Germaine de Randamie vs. Julianna Pena

Andrei Arlovski vs. Tanner Boser

Beneil Dariush vs. Charles Oliveira

Carlos Condit vs. Court McGee

Loma Lookboonmee vs. Jinh Yu Frey

Yorgan De Castro vs. Carlos Felipe

Heili Alateng vs. Casey Kenney

Tom Breese vs. Roman Kopylov

Josh Culibao vs. Charles Jourdain
