Ian Heinisch is quickly jumping back into the octagon after his win over Gerald Meerschaert at UFC 250 as the middleweight will fight Brendan Allen on June 27.
Heinisch’s win over Meerschaert broke a two-fight losing streak that resulted in the middleweight dropping bouts to Derek Brunson (via unanimous decision at UFC 241) and Omari Akhmedov (via unanimous decision at UFC 245). Still, the UFC fighter has a solid record in his last five fights as he’s also beaten Derek Brunson (via unanimous decision at UFC 241) and Omari Akhmedov (via unanimous decision at UFC 245). Heinisch’s professional record currently stands at 14 wins and 3 losses.
Like Heinisch, Brendan Allen is an alumni of Dana White’s Contender Series and the middleweight is currently in the midst of a six-fight winning streak. Since his win over Aaron Jeffery, Brendan Allen followed up that impressive victory by scoring wins over Kevin Holland (via submission at UFC on ESPN 6) and Tom Breese (via TKO at UFC Fight Night 169). Allen’s professional record is 14 wins and 3 losses.
