Jorge Gonzalez has been rescheduled to make his UFC debut on August 15 as the light heavyweight will take on Ike Villanueva at the summer pay-per-view.
Coming in, Gonzalez has managed to win seven out of his last eight fights under Jasaji Fighting League, Combate Cotas MMA, and Absolute Championship Akhmat. The light heavyweight has gotten impressive KO wins over Pablo Chazarreta, Erick Urban, and Luke Barnatt. Gonzalez’s professional record currently stands at 16 wins and 4 losses.
Villanueva is hoping to get his first UFC win after failing to drop Chase Sherman at UFC Fight Night 171. Still, the light heavyweight has an impressive record and Villanueza came into the company strong with a four-fight winning streak thanks to his time in Fury Fighting Championship. Overall, Villanueva’s professional record stands at 16 wins and 10 losses.
