Jared Gordon has been pulled from his upcoming fight against Dwight Grant at UFC Fight Night: Munhoz vs. Edgar. The welterweight has been forced off the card on August 22 due to suffering an injury, which was confirmed by the fighter himself:

According to MMA Fighting, UFC officials are searching for a replacement for Grant, though there’s no word on who could step in on Saturday, Aug. 22.

Coming in, Grant is currently in the midst of a two-fight winning streak as he’s beaten Carlo Pedersoli Jr. (via TKO at UFC Fight Night 145) and Alan Jouban (via split decision at UFC 236). Despite his setback against Zak Ottow in his UFC debut, the welterweight has a solid record of 10 wins and 2 losses.
