A new heavyweight bout is confirmed for UFC 251 as Jarjis Danho will take on Tai Tuivasa.

Danho is hoping to get his first win within the UFC as the heavyweight lost his debut match-up against to Daniel Omielanczuk and fought Christian Columbo to a majority draw. Prior to signing with the UFC, Danho competed in Desert Force, Cage, and Superior Fighting Championship. Danho’s professional record currently stands at 5 wins, 1 loss, and 1 no contest.

Tuivasa is in need of a win as the heavyweight is currently in the midst of a three-fight losing streak, dropping bouts to Junior Dos Santos, Blagoy Ivanov, and Sergey Spivak. Since joining the UFC in 2017, the Australia native has won three out of his six fights, with his biggest win coming over former UFC Heavyweight Champion Andrei Arlovski. Tuivasa’s professional record currently stands at 9 wins and 3 losses.

UFC 251 takes place on Saturday, June 6 from the RAC Arena in Perth, Australia with a UFC Featherweight title fight between Alexander Volkanovski and Max Holloway rumored to headline the event.
