A new featherweight bout has been made official for UFC Fresno.

Jason Knight vs. Gabriel Benitez is now booked for the December 9th event on Fight Night 123. Knight is coming off a techinical knockout loss to Ricard Lamas at UFC 214 back in July. The loss broke Knight's four fight win streak as he defeated Jim Alers, Dan Hooker, Alex Caceres, and Chas Skelly before entering that bout. Knight is currently 20-3 in his career, with a 4-2 in his UFC run.

Gabriel Benitez will be looking to gain mometum after a loss as well, as he dropped a unanimous decision to Enrique Barzola at UFC 211 back in May. Benitez is 3-2 in the UFC and 19-6 in his overall MMA career. The event is headlined by #4 ranked fighter Cub Swanson, who's on a current four fight win streak and #6 ranked Brian Ortega, who's currently going in undefeated with a record of 12-0-0.
