A new featherweight contest has been added to the UFC Fight Night: Holm vs. Aldana line-up as Jeremy Stephens will take on Edson Barboza.

Stephens enters the fight in need of a win as the featherweight is currently in the midst of a four-fight losing streak. The Iowa native has lost his last four bouts against Calvin Kattar (via TKO at UFC 249), Jose Aldo (via TKO at UFC on Fox 30), Yair Rodriguez (via unanimous decision at UFC on ESPN 6), and Zabit Magomedsharipov (via unanimous decision at UFC 235). Stephens' professional record currently stands at 28 wins, 18 losses, and 1 no contest.

Barboza is also looking to snap his three-fight losing streak as the Brazilian is coming off losses against Dan Ige (via split decision at UFC on ESPN 8), Justin Gaethje (via knockout at UFC on ESPN 2) and Paul Felder (via split decision at UFC 242). His professional record currently stands at 20 wins and 9 losses.

UFC Fight Night: Holm vs. Aldana takes place on Saturday, October 3 from a location to be announced and the two bantamweights headlining. The placement of the featherweight bout is currently unknown.
