It’s official, Jeremy Stephens will get his rematch against Yair Rodriguez at UFC Boston.

The featherweight bout had a controversial ending at UFC Fight Night Mexico City, as the main event bout ended in a no contest due Rodriguez poking Stephens in the eye a few seconds into the first round.

Since then, there’s been some bad blood brewing between the featherweights with the two fighters getting into a scuffle at a hotel after the fight night event. Stephens immediately called for a rematch against Rodriguez once his eye cleared up and the Mexico native has accepted the challenge.

UFC Fight Night Boston takes place on Friday, October 18 from the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts with Dominick Reyes and Chris Weidman headlining. Also on the card, Greg Hardy will take on Ben Sosoli and Joe Lauzon will fight Jonathan Pearce.
