The former UFC Strawweight Champion appears to put to rest the speculation about her fight against Michelle Waterson being cancelled.

Earlier this week, it was reported that Jedrzejczyk had informed UFC officials that she would be unable to make weight in her fight against Waterson, with the article stating that Waterson wasn’t interested in a catchweight bout against the former UFC Strawweight Champion. On Instagram story, Jedrzejczyk addresses the rumors and ensured fans to not worry as the fight is still on (Transcript courtesy of MMA Fighting):

“I don’t know what’s going on, the weigh-ins are tomorrow [They’re scheduled for Friday morning] and you’re all worried about,” Jedrzejczyk said. “The fight is on, the weighs-in are on Friday. Keep it calm, guys. All fine, step by step. I will see you there.” She then continued, “Did I miss something? Did I miss the weigh-ins today or what? Because the weigh ins are on Friday, isn’t it?”

We’ll see what happens on Friday at the weigh-ins. At this moment, the strawweight bout between Waterson and Jedrzejczyk is scheduled to headline UFC Tampa.
