Joanne Calderwood will compete in the octagon against Kalindra Faria in a women’s flyweight bout at UFC Lincoln on Aug. 25 at the Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln, Neb. Sources confirmed the bout with MMA Fighting’s Guilherme Cruz, and the UFC officially announced the bout on Friday.

ESPN was first to report the matchup.

In her last appearance vs. Cynthia Calvillo at UFC Glasgow, which was a strawweight fight, Calderwood (11-3) lost a unanimous decision. She now moves back up to the 125-pound division as she took on Valerie Letourneau in the promotion’s first-ever women’s flyweight bout on June 18, 2016, at UFC Ottawa, where Calderwood defeated Letourneau by third-round TKO.

Faria (18-7-1) is currently on a bit of a losing streak, falling to Jessica Eye and Mara Romero Borella.
