UFC veteran John Dodson is set to return to the octagon against rising star, Petr Yan, in the Czech Republic.

Since winning TUF 14 Finale in December 2011, Dodson saw moderate success in the flyweight division early in his career until a brutal one-sided loss to then flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson.

Since moving back to the bantamweight division in 2016, the UFC veteran has had mixed results such as nice wins over Pedro Munhoz and Eddie Wineland. However, Dodson lost his recent bout to Jimmie Rivera. Dodson’s professional record is 20 wins and 10 losses.

Yan remains undefeated in the UFC promotion. In his debut last June, Yan gained an easy victory over Teruto Ishihara. He then followed up with more dominant performances over Jin Soo Son and a TKO win over Douglas Silva de Andrade. Yan’s professional record is 11 wins and 1 loss.

The entire card is currently slated to happen on Feb. 23 inside O2 Arena. A light heavyweight clash between Jan Blachowicz and Thiago Santos will serve as the main event.
