Another fight has been pulled from UFC Fight Night: Munhoz vs. Edgar as Jorge Gonzalez will no longer take on Ike Villanueva at Saturday’s event. MMA DNA first reported the news, though the reasoning behind Gonzalez’s withdrawal is currently unknown. Jordan Wright will step in to replace Gonzalez.
Jordan Wright is making his UFC debut here with the light heavyweight entering the bout following his Legacy Fighting Alliance win over Gabriel Checco. Despite holding a no contest ruling against Anthony Hernandez, Wright remains undefeated inside of the octagon with those wins also coming from his time in Alaska Fighting Championship, Xplode Fight Series, and Gladiator Challenge. His professional record currently stands at 10 wins, 0 losses, and 1 no contest.
