Unfortunately, Julianna Pena has been forced to pull out of her scheduled bantamweight fight against Aspen Ladd at UFC Fight Night Columbus.
According to
MMA Junkie, Ladd withdrew from the special event as well to reschedule a fight against Pena on a future card. As of this writing, the nature of Pena’s injury is disclosed and there’s no word on how long she’ll be out of action.
The 30-year-old was hoping to build up momentum following her impressive victory over Nicco Montaño at UFC Fight Night Sacramento. Pena has only lost one bout in her UFC career, which was to current UFC Flyweight Champion Valentina Shevchenko.
