Kamaru Usman is back!

The former UFC Welterweight Champion came into his fight against Joaquin Buckley with a massive chip on his shoulder. Usman came in on a three-fight losing streak and plenty of fans and critics questioned his future in the UFC.

Usman dominated his fight against Buckley. His wrestling skill ran circles around Buckley, who struggled in each and every round. Buckley did have a comeback spot in the fifth round that legitimately had people questioning a possible upset, but that wasn’t enough to put down Usman. The former UFC Welterweight Champion nabbed his first win in four years, whereas this lost put an end to Buckley’s incredible winning streak.

In the co-main event, former UFC Strawweight Champion Rose Namajunas got back into the win column as well. Rose’s win wasn't as dominant, as her and Maverick had several exciting back-and-forth exchanges throughout the fight. But Rose is a bit quicker and has more experience than Maverick; that allowed Rose to connect with more pushes and getting the late knockdown in the final round secured her unanimous decision win.
