A light heavyweight bout has been confirmed for UFC 253 as Khadis Ibragimov will face Danilo Marques.

Ibragimov has failed to get a win since making his UFC debut back in 2019, with the light heavyweight dropping bouts to Da Un Jung (via submission at UFC Fight Night 157), Ed Herman (via unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night 163), and most recently, Roman Dolidze (via TKO at UFC Fight Night 172). The former M-1 Global light heavyweight champion currently has a record of 8 wins and 3 losses.

Marques will be making his UFC debut at the pay-per-view and the light heavyweight is coming in with an impressive two-fight winning streak due to his time in Gladiator Combat Fight. Ibragimov has also fought in Legacy Fighting Alliance and Predador Fight Championship. Coming in, Marques’ professional record stands at 9 wins and 2 losses.
