Khalil snaps out of his losing streak!

Khalil Rountree Jr. and Jamahal Hill headlined UFC Baku on Saturday and Khalil essentially dominated a rather disappointing and lopsided fight. Rountree had the advantage from the moment the bell rang, with the recent UFC Light Heavyweight title challenger slowly picking apart his opponent with low kicks and power punches throughout the three-round fight. Rountree came close to ending the fight by dropping Hill in the third round with a strong counter left hand. He ulimately got a unanimous decision victory. Rountree’s record now stands at 14 wins and 6 losses.

On the other hand, the former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion has now fallen into a three-fight skid. Hill hasn’t won a fight since UFC 283 and his record is now 12 wins and 4 losses.

In the co-main event, Fiziev managed to get out of a losing rut himself as he came in on a three-fight losing streak. His opponent, Ignacio Bahamondes, was no easy task as the lightweight came in on a nice three-fight winning streak. The bout was evenly matched for the most part, but Fiziev nailed more strikes and scored a couple of takedowns that clinched the unanimous decision win.
