A new middleweight bout has been set for this weekend.
Khamzat Chimaev will step into the octagon very quickly after his fight against John Phillips at UFC on ESPN+ 30 last Wednesday night as the middleweight will take on Rhys McKee at UFC Fight Night: Whittaker vs. Till.
Chimaev’s impressive submission win over Phillips extended his undefeated streak in the octagon. Prior to his UFC debut last week, Chimaev also fought in Brave Combat Federation, Fight Club Rush, and International Ring Fight Arena. Overall, his professional record currently stands at 7 wins and 0 losses.
McKee will be making his UFC debut here as the middleweight is entering the contest on the strength of a three-fight winning streak. The 24-year-old has dropped top prospects such as Jefferson George (via TKO at Cage Warriors 100), Perry Goodwin (via submission at Cage Warriors 102), and Hakon Foss (via TKO at Cage Warriors 110). McKee’s professional record currently stands at 10 wins and 2 losses.
