Ian Heinisch is officially off UFC Fight Night: Poirier vs. Hooker.
The middleweight was coming off a win over Gerald Meerschaert at UFC 250 heading into his bout against Allen on June 27; however, he’s now forced off the card due to injury. According to MMA Fighting, Kyle Daukaus is expected to fight Brendan Allen at the show.
Daukaus will be making his debut on June 27, with the middleweight coming in with a nine-fight winning streak. Another competitor on Dana White’s Contender series, the 27-year-old also competed in Cage Fury Fighting Championships, Ring of Combat, and King of the Cage. His professional record currently stands at 9 wins and 0 losses.
