A new light heavyweight bout has been added to UFC 250 in June as Alonzo Menifield will take on Devin Clark.
Since being discovered on Dana White’s Contender Series, Menifield has managed to prove himself by scoring wins over Vinicius Moreira (via TKO at UFC Fight Night 143) and Paul Craig (via KO at UFC on ESPN 3). Prior to his UFC debut in 2019, the light heavyweight competed in Legacy Fighting Alliance, Resurrection Fighting Alliance, and Bellator MMA. Menifield’s professional record currently stands at 9 wins and no losses.
Devin Clark is coming off a unanimous decision win over Dequan Townsend at UFC Fight Night Rio Rancho. The light heavyweight’s record in his last five fights is a mixed bag with Clark only scoring two more victories over Darko Stosic (via unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night 153) and Mike Rodriguez (via unanimous decision at UFC 223). His losses to Aleksandar Rakic (via TKO at UFC 231) and Ryan Spann (via submission at UFC Fight Night 161) have taken him out of the top 15 rankings. Clark’s professional record currently stands at 11 wins and 4 losses.
UFC 250 takes place on Saturday, June 6 with a location and main event set to be announced.
