Ivan Shtyrkov has officially signed a deal with UFC, though the details of the light heavyweight’s contract is currently unknown.

Shtyrkov enters the promotion with a ton of buzz as the Russia native has knocked out the likes of MMA veterans Ricco Rodriguez and Philip De Fries throughout his career thus far. He's also gained numerous submission wins, including over his recent opponent, Thiago Silva.

The only blemish on his record comes from a draw against Geronimo dos Santos in May 2018. Shtyrkov’s professional MMA record stands at 15 wins and 1 no contest. There is no word yet on when Shtyrkov is expected to make his UFC debut or who his first opponent is going to be.
