A Light Heavyweight bout has been confirmed for UFC Fight Night Lincoln, as Ovince St. Preux will take on Shamil Gamzatov.
The UFC veteran is coming off a win over Michał Oleksiejczuk at UFC Copenhagen. The Light Heavyweight is hoping to build much needed momentum, as Preux has only won one fight in his last three bouts. Preux’s professional record currently stands at 24 wins and 13 losses.
Gamzatov enters the contest on a strong undefeated streak, with his latest win coming over Klidson Abreu at UFC Fight Night Moscow. This will be the Light Heavyweight’s second bout within the promotion, with his prior stints being in Pro Fighters League, Absolute Championship Berkut, and World Series of Fighting. Gamazatov’s professional record stands at 14 wins and no losses.
UFC Fight Night Lincoln takes place on Saturday, April 25 from the Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln, Nebraska with Anthony Smith and Glover Teixeira headlining.
