After getting a nice win over Thomas Gifford at UFC Sunrise, lightweight fighter Roosevelt Roberts has agreed to face Vinc Pichel on June 29 at UFC Minneapolis.

Roberts has been fighting inside the octagon since 2015; however, the new UFC lightweight made his debut for the promotion last November and got an impressive first-round submission over Darrell Horcher. The Miami native’s professional MMA record is 8 wins and no losses.

His opponent, Vinc Pichel, is coming back inside the octagon nearly a year after a second-round submission loss to Gregor Gillespie last June. The 36-year-old got his way into the UFC through The Ultimate Fighter 25, and has gained wins over the likes of Rustam Khabilov,  Damien Brown, and Joaquim Silva. The California native’s overall professional record is 11 wins and 2 losses.

UFC Minneapolis takes place at the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The event is set to air on ESPN and is headlined by a welterweight rematch between former UFC champions Tyron Woodley and Robbie Lawler.
